Sacred Heart will be presented in both English-dubbed and Spanish-language versions, as detailed below.

Set 350 years ago in Paray-le-Monial, the film intertwines the saint’s mystical encounter with Jesus, insights from priests, nuns, historians, and theologians, and modern testimonies from ordinary people whose lives have been transformed by Jesus’ message of love

Directed and produced by Steven and Sabrina Gunnell of KREA Film-Makers, Sacred Heart shocked the French box office and continues to make waves across Europe, attracting nearly one million viewers in Europe since first releasing theatrically in October 2025. The married filmmakers were inspired to produce Sacred Heart after a visit to the Burgundy shrine, where they grew in their own understanding of the meaning of the Sacred Heart. A former member of the French 1990s boy band Alliage, Steven converted to Catholicism and after rebuilding his life, now works with his wife to produce films that represent their Christian faith. Paray-le-Monial was the place of their first journey together as a couple nearly twenty years ago. Much later at Notre-Dame du Laus, they discovered the consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus-the starting point of the film.

“The world is dying from not knowing it is loved by God,” said Steven and Sabrina Gunnell, directors and producers. “This film is simply an answer and an invitation. This film is an invitation toward this Divine love – to the Sacred Heart of Jesus which is burning for humanity. We are amazed at the runaway success of a movie that literally reveals God’s own heart. This is His movie and His creative way to reach contemporary audiences. The flood of success shows us that people are hungry for God’s love and the truth of this message that never ends. What God does for one, He will do for another. You will grow in faith as you encounter the beautiful French Saint Margaret Mary who was chosen by God to carry forward the message of the Sacred Heart to the world. You will hear powerful testimonies from people who have experienced the power and miraculous nature of this devotion. Our very broken world needs the love of God now more than ever.”

The mystery and promises of the Sacred Heart continue to draw men and women from around the world to its love, grace and transforming power for all humanity. During America’s 250th anniversary celebratory year, the film is even more timely as the U.S. Catholic bishops are set to consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus the week of release, which is the month that Catholics commemorate the devotion to the Sacred Heart.

“This is all God’s timing,” said Hubert de Torcy, Saje Distribution Chairman. Sacred Heart is creating a revival through Europe and now our eyes look to the United States. We encourage everyone to plan to see this movie as a family, as a parish and together in your school communities so you can encounter the timeless and efficacious devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He is waiting for you.”

After the feature documentary, a special bonus presentation will feature U.S. clergy and laity on the power of the devotion to the Sacred Heart, including more about the United States Bishops’ plan to consecrate the United States this year to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The audience will hear from Archbishop Paul Coakley, president of the U.S.C.C.B., Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, provincial superior of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly of the Knights of Columbus and others.

“This movie is about answering a thirst,” said Steven and Sabrina Gunnell. “Come to the theatres this June and begin a revival in your own heart through the Sacred Heart of Jesus and then kindle that fire in your home, your community and your country. The time is now.”

Tickets for Sacred Heart will be available online on Friday, April 24 and at participating theatre box offices (theatre locations are subject to change). For more information and to be among the first notified when tickets go on sale, please visit Fathom Entertainment.
